[News] 120725 JYJ’s Junsu confirms five cities for his North and South American tour
JYJ's Junsu has confirmed a total offive cities for his world tour in North and South America!
Starting August 30th, the tour will open up at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York, a venue previously visited by popular artists like Puff Daddy, Nicki Minaj, and Nas. JYJ also held their showcase here in 2010.
On September 2nd, he'll be at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles where the likes of jay-Z and Justin Bieber performed at in the past.
The tour will continue down to South America at the Blackberry Auditorium in Mexico City on September 6th, followed by Espaco Victory in Sao Paulo, Brazil on the 8th, and finally Teatro Caupolican in Santiago, Chile on the 10th.
Representatives of his concert hosts stated, "South American fans are ecstatic over news of Junsu's South American tour. Junsu's concerts have become a back to back hit. Realistically, we know that South American tours aren't affective income-wise, but we feel that this tour will have a positive effect trough C-Jes Entertainment's promotional tactics."
Junsu expressed, "I recently stayed in the States where I worked on my single album and music video. I'm really satisfied with the results of it, and am filled with excitement and anticipation over meeting my fans all over the world once again".
His Asia tour will finish up in Hong Kong on August 7th.

[NEWS] JYJ Kim Junsu rewrites K-pop history with his world tour
JYJ member Junsu who has embarked on his solo career will write a new K-pop history of his own. Wrapping up his Asia Tour which made stops in Thailand, Indonesia, Taiwan and China, he is now preparing for another tour, this time in North and South America and Europe.
His first solo album "Tarantalegra" dominated international music charts, including Germany's Asia music chart, Chile's etc.. TV pop chart and Japan's iTunes music chart. It also ranked on Billboard's top 100 world album along with its music video entering at No.1 on a Chinese weekly music video chart.
Junsu planned out a world tour from the early stage of his solo career as he had limited access to his fans with TV. So he consulted able promoters who were in charge of previous JYJ world tour, and planned out one for himself this time that would make two to three stops in the each continent.
Junsu is currently working on repackaging his first solo album in Engish for the upcoming world tour. World-renowned producer Bruce 'Automatic' Vanderveer who had collaborated with American singer Christina Aguilera and music video director Marc Klasfeld who worked with Beyonce, Eminem and Jay-Z participate in the repackaginf process for Junsu's album and the music video.
As the news of Kim Junsu's world tour spread out, his fans across the country take part in a campaign, wishing his tour made a stop in their nations. Fans in Peru made a collection of photos in which every single one of them was holding Junsu's album and poster. His mexican fans created a 5-minutes video, entitled 'Mexico is always waiting for you JYJ' on Youtube. Fans around Europe and South America posted messages online wishing for his visit to their countries.
A pop-culture critic in Korea said Kim Junsu was the very first solo musician launching a "world" tour, and his challenge would be worth looking at, because his overseas success could open a whole new world for solo artist, who did not relatively have much opportunities in the overseas music market, compared to idol groups.
Kim Junsu's repackage to his first solo album will be released in the middle of August, and he will kick off his highly-anticipated world tour in the end of this August.

Some behind-the-scenes pictures of JYJ's Jaejoong in MBC TV's drama series Doctor Jin were recently released.
On July, C-Jes Entertainment, Jaejoong's agency, uploaded some behind-the scenes pictures of Jaejoong as Kim Kyung Tak selected by the viewers, including Jaejoong's martil arts, on its official Facebook account.
Jaejoong is portraying a man who sacrifices himself to protect his family and his lover in the series.
The pictures include the scenes of Kim Kyung Tak crying after finding out the identity of his old friend Hong Young Hwi (played by Jin Yi Han), of Kim and Hong fighting against each other, and of Kim having a great time on streets.
A spokesperson for the series says, "Jaejoong is portraying a good man in this series. His character is an unfortunate one, but the viewers love the character because he's a good-natured man. Jaejoong has good eyes to express a sad emotion. Because he's always there for Young Rae to protect her, many female viewers love him."

The 3 best scenes of Kim Jaejoong’s tear acting in MBC TV’s drama Dr.Jin have become hot topic.
In the episode 13 of ‘Dr.Jin’ that was aired on July 7th, Kim Kyungtak has done great deeds in Jinjoo and got appointed with the Imperial Guard Camp. After coming back to his own room, sitting in the corner, he spotted Younghui’s sword. Kim Kyungtak clenched the sword over his chest and said, “You still slashed me with this sword in the end.” The sadness that has been weighed down on him all those times burst out, making all the viewers moved to tears.

[NEWS] JYJ’s Junsu tops the Asian Music Chart in Germany with “Tarantallegra”
JYJ’s Junsu (XIA) recently topped the Asian Music Chart in Germany with his solo song, “Tarantallegra.”
On July 10, C-jes Entertainment, Junsu’s agency, reported Junsu ranked first on the monthly Asian Music Chart in Germany, which was updated recently, with the lead track of his solo album, “Tarantallegra.”
Big Bang ranked second and B.A.P ranked third. Junsu also proved his worldwide popularity as he ranked first on the iTunes Chart in Japan, tenth on the Billboard’s World Albums Chart, and first on the monthly Music Video Chart of a Chinese site last month.
Junsu is currently having a concert tour in Asia. Starting in Seoul in May, he went to Thailand, Indonesia, Taiwan, and China, attracting over 30,000 audiences.

Upon reaching Bali’s airport after midnight, he was told that waiting has to be done at the airport for almost a day and his expression immediately changed into excitement. Tears of the Japanese fans, who participated in the 2012 JYJ Membership Week that is held from the 28th to the 1st of next month at SETEC, could be seen.
2012 JYJ Membership Week is a large-scale fan service project with a 3.7 billion won budget by CJES Entertainment for their members.
For an Expo that is like no other, CJES entertainment spent 4 months to prepare for the event by combining state-of-the-art programs with JYJ content. Also, there was no commercial intent as admission was free to fans with things like water, fans, popcorn and etc provided. 10 photo sticker machines were also placed. It was literally a big fan service.
This large-scale Membership Week event is the first fan expo in the country and it has become a huge topic as it is expected to bring 7024 Japanese fans in. On the 28th and 29th, Japanese fans flew in from 14 airports and have started flocking to the exhibition this afternoon. Photos of JYJ and 3D images as well as space displaying personal items gained explosive reactions and cheers of joy from fans who entered the exhibition.
Utaka Kimie (49 years old) said, “This is an event that you cannot find in Japan. I’m touched by the huge effort that was put in. Even though we are unable to see JYJ in Japan often, I am extremely grateful with such an event.”
Miyakawa Eri (28 years old) expressed, “I was surprised that everything is free and I felt like this was a huge present. I think I am going to love JYJ forever.”
This expo is expected to be visited by 15,000 fans in Korea. At the opening of the expo yesterday, Korean members expressed, “I am proud to be a JYJ fan. To not have commercial interest and have a large-scale exhibition purely to see JYJ is really like a dream,” and “Even though it is difficult to see JYJ on broadcasting channels, it is really good to be able to see them at the gallery and theatre here at this expo and I feel that it is precious.”
On Saturday, 30th of June and Sunday, 1st of July, JYJ plans to have an enjoyable fan meeting event with their fans.

[NEWS] 120628 JYJ’s $3.2 million fan service!!!
Some 3,700,000,000 KRW (about $3.2 million at press time) have been invested into the ‘JYJ Membership Week’ taking place in 3 exhibit halls of about 3,000 pyong in size (about 107,000 sq ft). There are holograms of the JYJ members, the stage outfits and personal items of the members, screen tunnels and more, truly plenty of experiences prepared for the fans.
Kim Junsu and Kim Jaejoong appeared very happy to provide the event for the fans and the excitement could really be felt in the atmosphere. There were many fans from overseas as well as Korea and some of the Japanese fans could be seen in the crowd in particular.
JYJ truly seem to be a group that strives to stay connected to the fans as made evident through their efforts and the fans are all the more appreciative of their favorite stars for it.

[NEWS] 120628 JYJ holds a huge fan meeting and invites 22,000 fans
Group JYJ recently talked about holding their fan meeting.
On June 28, JYJ attended the ’2012 JYJ Membership Week,’ which was held at SETEC in Seoul on June 28. The ‘Membership Week’ is conducted by C-JeS Entertainment for the group’s fans.
At the event, Kim Jae Joong said, “Fans are the heroes here. Thank you all our fans for supporting us and loving us all the time.”
Kim Jun Soo said, “I looked around the exhibition hall before the opening ceremony and found out there are many interesting exhibits. People will see a different side of us.”
Only Kim Jae Jong and Kim Jun Soo appeared at the event. Park Yoo Chun couldn’t appear at the press event due to an eye disease.
The ’2012 JYJ Membership Week,’ which cost 3.7 billion won, will be held on June 28 for 4 days. C-JeS Entertainment conducted the event for the group’s fans as a fan service.
Various exhibits, performances, and videos will play at the exhibition hall, which covers an area of 3,000 pyeong.
Baek Chang Joo, president of the agency, says, “For the various Hallyu contents, this kind of exhibitions will give fans wonderful experiences and help them to share stories of artists. Constant challenge is necessary to improve quality of Hallyu contents.”
Around 22,000 people including 5,000 Korean fan club members and 7,000 Japanese members are expected to visit the exhibition hall.
